For strong beginners and above (you should be comfortable with shifting/braking and hills) who are looking to ride a more slow and social pace. This is a moderate for beginners with some short, but challenging hills and is about 8-10 miles total (depending on stamina of group). Should be comfortable riding 10 miles at a recreational pace.
Remember, THIS RIDE IS FOR FUN and NOT INTENDED TO BE A TRAINING RIDE.
This is a no rider left behind ride. We will stop at the top of all major hills to rest and catch our breath. We will take brakes as needed to ensure all riders are ready to continue. Meeting at 3:00 and pedaly away around 3:15. The plan is to ride for about 2 hours.
All riders are expected to have mountain bikes in sound working condition. This is not a trail for hybrid bikes. It is a good idea to have some supplies (spare tube, patch kit, pump, etc). Bring some water and a lite snack if you feel the need.
As always, HELMETS ARE REQUIRED! If you are unable to show up, please update your RSVP a minimum of 2 hours before the start time of the event.
