FATRAC is hosting their monthly multi-level ride along the Foresthill Divide Loop Trail. There is no charge and all riders are welcome.

A novice ride will be a short loop or an out-and-back along the most accessible part of the FDLT as far as the riders are comfortable (probably 5-10 miles total depending on the riders). An intermediate ride will do one loop around the entire FDLT (12 miles). The advanced option will include FDLT, the Connector.......
FATRAC welcomes all riders to our monthly club rides. To accommodate various interests and skills, three different rides will begin at the same location. You decide which ride you want to participate in.
When January 16th at 10:00 AM through 1:30 PM (arrive 15 minutes early for sign-in and ride discussion - ready to roll at 10:00).

Awsome ride Phred! Thanks for leading and herding us. The trail was challenging, yet doable, the people friendly, and the leader funny...

This will be my first real mountain bike ride, but I am not your average beginner. Nothing slows me down. I have to ask, why is there a (rider) limit on most of the rides????

Lisa, Generally rain before the ride will not cancel the ride, unless the trail is saturated (lot of rain days before the ride. Rain during the ride time will cancel. FDLT is not as rain tolerant as Granite Bay trail. If the ride is canceled, I will send an email to all who RSVPed yes the night before.

What a fantastic turnout on primo trail conditions and weather. Everyone did a really great job on tackling and mastering this trail today. KUDOs to all. Thanks for the liquid refreshments to the Scholkop's (sp) and FATRAC for the refreshments and food. Need more for next time I guess.
    •  Very well led and swept ride. The best I've seen in quite a while. Everyone showed great trail riding courtesy that instantly earned my respect and appreciation. Thank you very much for letting me be a part of the ride!
    •  Awesome as usual, thanks FATRAC!

It turned out to be a beautiful day and it is a great trail....I had to "push" myself most of the way. A special thanks to Peter for being so supportive! I am thinking I need a bit more training before I "tackle" this one again...I know I have a month to get there :-) What a great group of riders....and, I finally went to Ikeda's....GREAT burgers!
    •  Hey this was a great ride, 1st time I was on the Foresthill Loop and I will be going back too. Great to meet more of the people on the Mountain Biking side of the club. FATRAC did a great job of putting on the ride, and with lunch after the ride, what a great way to meet and talk to everyone after the ride.
    •  Mmmm, chili...
