Paige Meadows Ride (Alpine Meadows)
This is a 12 mile ride. Ride starts near Alpine Meadows with a 4 mile granny gear climb up fire road, follow by a 4 mile moderately technical rocky decent to Tahoe City where we will stop at the Bridge Tender for lunch and refreshments. After lunch will will enjoy a liesurly 4 mile ride along the Truckee River bike path back to our vehicles. We will meet a Sunsplash park and ride in Roseville at 9 am to carpool/caravan to Alpine Meadows (approx 2hr drive). Ride time is anticipated to be 2.5 hours including lunch break. Come and enjoy the Sierra's on a fall day. As always helmets are required, please have a bike in good working condition, spare tubes, trail tools and water to sustain you for the ride.
