RAIN MAY CANCEL THIS RIDE. WILL KNOW MORE THURSDAY MORNING. OK here we go. A New Years Day ride with HW MTB, BONC and FATRAC. Advanced group will ride from Stage Coach at 9:00 from Russell Rd. Intermediate and novice/beginners will start at 10:00 at parking area across from Drivers Flat on Foresthill Road (see Map link below). All rides will end about 1:00 at which time anyone who wants to partake in some after ride munchies can do so. Please consider bringing something to share (soda, cookies, pie, chips, ham, salad, cake, etc. - you get the point). You may want to bring a lawn chair, sit, eat and swap lies after the ride.

See the Flyer HERE

Map with both starting locations is Map

Please post what you plan to bring so we do not end up with all cookies (although I like cookies, it is nice to have some kind of variety). This will be a kid friendly event, so feel free to pack up the kid and bring them along. Also, the trail is good for hiking, if your SO does not want to cycle, perhaps they would like to hike the trail.

If it rains, we may postpone to January 2. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me or post them here.

Adrienne, it is not a matter of needing cornbread, it is a matter of if you would like to bring some cornbread. It goes good with Chili and as far as I know, no one is bringing any. If it makes a difference, I would like some cornbread with my chile. :o)

Ralph, the chili is being brougt by FATRAC. We (HamWheels) are asked to bring some things that go with chili. There will be plenty of food (trust me) and BONC is bringing food/snacks as well. BTW, there will be over 50 folks at the shin-dig. This will be a fun ride.

If you want, bring other stuff to snack on - It does not have to be a chili complement. Tortilla chips and dip is good. Cookies are good. Coffee is good. Anything is good. :o)
