Come out and join us for a mid-week MTB ride in Granite Bay!
This is a strong beginner ride (you should be comfortable with shifting/braking and hills). This is a moderate for beginners with some short, but challenging hills and is about 8-10 miles total (depending on stamina of group). Should be comfortable riding 10 miles at a recreational pace.
This is a no rider left behind ride. We will stop at the top of all major hills to rest and catch our breath. We can take breaks as needed to ensure all riders are ready to continue (especially for myself). Meetup at 2:00 and pedal away around 2:10. The plan is to ride for about 2 hours.
All riders are expected to have mountain bikes in sound working condition. This is not a trail for hybrid bikes. Highly suggest carrying the following supplies (spare tube, patch kit, pump, etc). Bring some water and a lite snack if you feel the need.
As always, HELMETS ARE REQUIRED! If you are unable to show up, please update your RSVP a minimum of 2 hours before the start time of the event.
Looks like a nice and sunny day! Looking forward to the ride!
I can't wait! I didn't ride last night for obvious reason!
Chris thanks for organizing the ride and Steve thanks for leading and showing us the new trail on the front side of the water tower, and thanks to bill for taking us on the " NEW " trail
Rain is in the forecast for Wednesday. Heavy showers will most likely cancel this ride. I will update as Wednesday draws near?.
