Hello MTB Fans~
Come one, Come all to our group ride featuring all ride levels.
Advanced group: This is a fast paced ride covering about three race loops in Granite Bay. Each loop is about 4-5 miles in length. There will be minimal stops between loops and with no sweeper. If you get dropped from this group, you are welcome to drop down to Fast or Slow intermediates. This is a race prep training ride and get ready to work!
Intermediate(s): This is our largest group and is often broken down into both Fast and slow intermediates. If you're able to ride 10-12 miles at a steady pace, this is the group for you. Several regroups with minimal breaks between loops. Water Tower is also added at the ride leader's discretion. There is a sweep on this ride and if you fall behind this sweep, please move to the beginner group.
Beginners, Kids and parents with Tag along bikes and Burley's: You got we cover it! This is a true beginner ride not a beginner biker. You need to be familiar with shifting and breaking. Please learn to ride your bike prior to trying ti on the trails in a group setting. No rider is left behind, if we get you out there we'll lead you back.
General: All Ride leaders are provided radios and ride briefing. The ride leaders will keep the rides on legal trails, cover trail riding practices, point out poison oak and yielding to equestrian and foot traffic. Ride leaders are volunteering their time and love of this sport to you all. Please take the time to thank a ride leader if you feel they've helped you enjoy the wonderful sport of mountain biking. Helmets are a must and if you're new to the sport; elbow and knee pads don't hurt, falling does! Please bring plenty of water, snacks for energy, a fun loving spirit and refreshments for the "socializing" after the ride.
I hope to see you on the next ride!
