Flood / Mossy Rock to Stagecoach

No location was chosen

Thursday after work ride! I’m riding in Auburn, down Flood trail to Mossy Rock, then up Stagecoach on Thursday. Flood and Mossy Rock are technical in a few sections and beginners are welcome to embrace the challenge! The ride should take about an hour to complete and no lights are needed.
Similar to last week's ride, we can add part of Lake Clementine trail to the green gate before heading back on Stagecoach.

For those who want to add more miles to the ride, you have a few options: Clementine loop, Quarry trail, Confluence trail, etc. and finish up Stagecoach to Flood.

Start: 6:15pm

Meet: at the Sierra Grill/El Portal parking lot. From Highway 80, take the Auburn Ravine/Foresthill Road exit. Sierra Grill is across the McDonald’s on Lincoln Way and Ferguson.
address: 13360 Lincoln Way, Auburn.

Finish: at El Portal Taqueria for some yummy Mexican food!

Did flood for the first time a few weeks ago with someone who's been doing it for years. My suggestion to the flood newbie... "Go for it!" (just keep your wits about ya) It's has this cool canopy of trees too. ENJOY!

Agreed. If it's your first time, just take your time. It's fairly tame, but if you add some speed then you need to have fast reactions. Flood trail is a good trail to test your line picking ability too.
