This will be the "classic" leisurely loop along the creek behind the baseball diamond and then an out and back along the golf course. We will start at the opposite end, as the RT lot charges to park there now. If you still want to take the light rail to the ride, you'll get to add some miles by doing a back and out and back. Parking is best back in the neighborhood across Auburn Blvd.; see the map. We will meet in this court and then ride to the trail.
I haven't been able to post this ride in a while, partly because of my schedule and partly because of the weeds! But thanks to some trail gnomes, the main route is clear again! This also might be the last time I post this ride as I am moving to Fairfield at the end of the month. But that doesn't mean it has to be the last time it gets posted. Come on out and learn an easy trail near where you live! Maybe you can lead the next one...
Carolyn, there are a couple of downed trees that can be ridden or walked over, but no climbs or downhills to speak of. It looks like most of the rsvps were from intermediate riders, but we'll show you the way and regroup at a number of points so you can enjoy it at your pace.
What should the skill level be for this one as I am still at strong beginner? Haven't done much riding lately.
