Granite Bay - Mountain Bike Ride
Wednesday evening ride to Doton's point~
This is an intermediate ride (you should be comfortable with shifting, braking, hills and sweating a lot). The ride should last about 2 hours. We will meet at 5:45 and be ready to go by 6:000pm. Bring lights if you feel so inclined.
Make sure you have lots of water or whatever power drinks you like.
Please bring a mountain bike in good working condition and wear a HELMET! If you have any questions feel free to email or call me at [masked].
The riders set the pace on this ride. It's a "get in where you fit in" type of ride. But we make sure that nobody is left behind.

Yes, and Mitch always has a great story attached to his random appearances. Like he was attacked by a bear and had to fight off a few mountain Lions to catch up with us. It's always a hoot to ride with you, Mitch.

My habitual lateness excuse (in this case) stems from previous rides when the puublished meet up time was 15 minutes prior to when everyone actually rode out of the parking lot. For example, the ride at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday will actually start at 10:15. Although I got it now it might make sense to have 5:45 as the meetup time to be consistent with other rides and help other people who are easily confused like me. Mitch that's a good point, on rides I do here & on road side ..I actually even sometimes post the start time as the time we roll out and sometimes the time we meet with rollout 15 minutes after that ..I guess I should be at least consistent with myself :-)

There was a fast group that is very fast and a slow group that is a little slower than I like to ride. I ended up splitting off with a middle-paced group. There are always people out there who ride like you like to ride so that makes it great.
