God is in my family. My wife is the mature Christian. I struggle. It is a blessing to be able to ride and share our faith Harry. No worries about waiting up for you. There was a heart voice that I know is God at work. Besides, I found the 7-Up on the picnic table instead of riding on! We can meet at Salmon Falls when we ride the area. Glad it works out for you. We can add miles by going to Magnolia and back over the up and down trail. That would give us the additional 5 miles...Tony
I can relate. I climb every Friday evening with my Daughter at a climbing gym in Sacramento. $15.00 gas plus $12 fee. It's only a short drive for me to ride my mtb up where I live. And Slamon Falls is not that far. Forest Hill is only 3 miles, Cronan only 4 miles driving distance, so affordable. I need to get a road bike and start heading out your way!
I'll look for you at 800 Salmon Falls unless hear otherwise...Ton

No worries Harry, I like riding with you! Is it closer for you to meet at the Salmon Falls Bridge? That way we could start out by riding from the bridge to Cronan Trail head, come back and then ride out to Rattlesnake Bar and back to Salmon Falls Bridge. About 38 miles. We can meet at the Salmon Falls Bridge by 8:00am. Otherwise, let me know your thoughts on a meet up location if the ride I'm suggesting works for you!

You got the right place Harry. there is the gate and big rock boulders at the parking area. Most folks don't get there that early so we'll have a parking space. I can't wait. When we get back to the cars on the way down, we can snack and load up on fluids before riding the middle fork trail to the confluence and stage coach. PS there is a gate where the road turns into the dam spill way, if you get there you've gone too far.
Peace.
OK, 0800 it is! My Sons band is playing at the Boardwalk in Orangeville Friday night. I'll be getting home late, but I'll rally! I'm looking forward to riding with you Harry! I made a few updates to my bike that I'll show you! Do you know the spot we're meeting up at?
OK, how about 8-ish? You drive up to forest hill from Auburn, cross the forest hill bridge....when you just go past the lower forest hill road, the one that goes past the main trailhead at the confluence, look to your left and there will be the lower clementine road that goes to the clementine dam. turn left on this road, and drive down about a mile or so and you'll see a turn out on your left with a gate. Park there, the connector trail is just across the road, I'll call you soon.
Harry, I'm riding this Saturday starting off at 0900 at the clementine/conn
ector trail junction. I plan on 25-30 miles. A lot of climbing, forest hill loop, stage coach, flood trail and back to connector and the car. I plan on riding moderate pace with few rests. I hope to see you before 9.
