Introduction

Just got my 1st mountain bike, and I thought of Meetups to find a group with whom to ride and learn! Haven't ridden anything in a long time, and never dirt, but I'm looking forward to new adventures!

What trails have you ridden?

Just started riding this past week. Limited to American River, breaking both me & the bike in, and figuring out what I'm up to!

What trails would you like to ride?

I've hiked the Olmstead trail (Cool), and would like to ride it this year. Salmon Falls sounds interesting too.

What would you like to get out of this group?

Meet other bikers with similar interests, learn local trails, customs, and etiquette.

Where did you hear about us?

I belong to the Hot Air Ballooning Meetup group, and came here looking for a mountain bike group.

I wish you all the best in your recovery. I was wondering why you weren't there Sunday morning. Hope you heal fast so we can get you back on the road taking the lead so we can draft. I'll be sure to keep my distance on a downhill.
