Introduction
I just moved to Nevada City and love mountain biking so I am looking to meet others with the same interest. I didn't start mountain biking until I was 50 and was a road rider only before that.
What trails have you ridden?
I have ridden at Skaggs point and Purissima Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I've also ridden the Flume trail and parts of the Tahoe Rim trail as well as some tails around Mt Tam. The closest trails to my home were at Belmont Canyon in San Mateo.
What trails would you like to ride?
I would like to try Downieville at some point and South Yuba River trail. In general I'd be up for any trail that 's fun and less than an hour and a half from Nevada City.
What would you like to get out of this group?
I think I would like the camaraderie that comes from riding with a group and boost my skills some more. I love being able to go an explore new trails and find some favorites to return to again and again.

This was my first experience doing a group ride on mountain bikes. In the past I have gone with one or two friends or on my own. Since I just moved to this area two weeks ago this was a perfect way to meet people in the area who love mountain biking and to become familiar with local trails.
